What a Week!

Last week really inspired us! A longtime mentor and friend surprised us by asking her birthday party guests to bring socks instead of gifts. We had thought that the final count was 95 pairs, but even more socks were found after the party ended!

We also had the opportunity to interact with community members from our table at Monticello High School’s last home football game of the season. Some very generous spectators brought socks for our sock drive and supported our fundraising campaign. Go Mustangs!

Our community sock drive, launched in mid-October, is going well. The current count is at 539 pairs! We’ll continue collecting warm, new socks through the month of December. For a current list of drop box locations, please refer to our Facebook page.
